19 Sep 2009- Long holiday again!! But I am not travelling this time; saving money.
I woke up this morning, wondering what should I do for the day. In the end, I decided to go to the flower field near my dorm for some pure macro photography.
My Gear: Canon Kiss X2 (or 450D), EF28-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM with Raynox DCR-250 and DMW-LC55 close-up lens
There were many types of flowers at the field, but most of them were withering 'cos autumn is coming.
What is this insect?
Small butterfly
"I will follow you"
Big Butterfly
I was trying to take this flower. But...
This bee came in.
So I ended up chasing the bee around.
"Reaching soon, finally"
"Yeah I reached!"
I spent quite some time chasing this dragonfly. It flew away whenever it saw me closing in.
Thanks for viewing.

[PCS1][PCS2] Combined Department Softball and BBQ
29 August, Sat - It was the combined department outing, softball game first followed by BBQ for lunch.
We started the softball game at 9am in the hot summer morning.
Strikes!!!
Joni strikes with style.
It was my first time playing softball. Did not know when to run, where to throw and how to hit, but it was fun! haha
Ball!
Ball with an OUCH!!
Hit and Run!!
In the end, I still managed to make a couple of good hits with 2 base runs, not bad for a beginner huh?
The Merciless Pitchers
Great Defenders
But as a defender, I did not manage to catch a single ball. Hmm...guess I'm just not used to catching balls with my left hand.
At 12noon, it was BBQ Lunch!!
Yummyyy
Hot Girls! and their mums were hot too
But mums got tattoo all over their backs! so didn't dare to shoot them.
BBQ was at a river bank.
What do you read on my T-shirt?
After softball, it felt great to cool down in the river water. BTW, that's my mentor in the picture above.
Splassshh
My manager had a great time throwing people into waters. ↑
My model of the day. At first, she was wary of me.
Finally she smiled at me. So cute!!
Kids got their presents, うまい棒, at the end of the day.
Thank you for viewing

Yokota Air Base US-Japan Friendship Festival
23 Aug 2009- Went to Yokota Air Base Open House (they call it the US-Japan Friendship Festival) with Steven and Joni. First reaction when I alighted at Ushihama Station was...WOW!! I was shocked by the number of visitors. I did not even have to check my map for directions; the crowd brought me there. I did not remember having so many people at RSAF's open house. Later I read on the air base's website that more than 170,000 attended the 2-day event!!
Well...it's crowded at every event in Tokyo. Plus, they showcased the F22 Raptor!! The best all- rounded fighter plane in the world.
Air Shows
Hunks
BIG Planes (which I do not know the names)
And small Planes (which I also do not know the names)
E-3 Sentry
Main Highlight, the F22 Raptor!! And not just one but TWO!
A Row Fighter Planes, don't mess around in Tokyo
I am strong! I can move this C130!
A Festival in Summer means you get to see gals in Yukata
Airplane Fan Club
Let's take one side each
Since I already brought a ladder, I shall use it; even though no one is blocking in front of me.
(Yes I did some very extreme post processing and had overdone some of it. Shall redo them when I have time.)
