9 Jun 2010 - I was free that day without any appointment, and so I decided to visit Sentosa, its new integrated resort and Universal Studio Singapore.
It's been years since I last visited the island.
I took the Sentosa Express (for the 1st time) and alighted at the Beach Station.
NO SWIM ZONE
I walked along the beautiful beach and snapped some shots of people, but I made a rule to myself that I will not post pictures of strangers on the net unless I get their permission.
Relaxation
Back-view doesn't go against my rule
It started to rain. I went into one of the huts along the beach for shelter.

Manual focus and high shutter speed (1/1250s) to capture the rain drops, with the coconut trees as background
Ships in Rough Sea
It was raining very heavily but the barely visible ships look interesting.

Tropical rainfall - heavy but short.
The rain lasted for only around an hour and I was back on my trip!
Name of the beach. Siloso Beach
Man-made waterfall at the foot of Merlion
Merlion was surrounded with construction sites, hence I could not get a good shot of it.

On my way to Tiger Sky Tower...
Here's Tiger Sky Tower.
I brightened the shadows and rotated the picture 180deg to emphasize the "Tiger"
There was a long queue, so I didn't go up. It was running late, and I rushed to the destination that I most wanted to go, the new integrated resort, Resorts World Sentosa.

Interior, filled with expensive shops and you can see how empty it is.
Lightings at...the basement carpark!!
It was World Cup season
Misc shot
Reflection of the water fountain
Sky was becoming dark but the fountain was becoming alive.
I love the colors of the fountain
